Arkansas Lottery Winners: How to Claim Your Prize Online at My Arkansas Lottery

Congratulations! You’re an Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) winner and it’s time to celebrate! But first, you have to claim your prize. Of course, you want to make sure that you follow all the steps correctly in order to ensure that you get your prize money. Here are the steps you should take in order to claim your lottery prize online.

Step 1: Sign Your Ticket

This is a very important step because your ticket is a bearer instrument, and your signature shows that you have valid ownership of the ticket. The first thing you want to do, then, is to sign your ticket on the space on the back. That way, even if you lose your ticket, you still have legal ownership of it. Otherwise, if it’s lost without a signature, you can kiss your prize money goodbye.

Step 2: Visit the ASL Website

Using a computer which has access to the Internet, visit the Arkansas Lottery website at www.myarkansaslottery.com. Everything you need to know in order to claim the prize can be found under the “Claim Prize” section, which you will find near the middle top of the page. Click on “Claim Prize” to go to the page with all the information on the different ways you can claim your winnings.

Step 3: Cash In Your Winnings

The ASL offers you three ways of cashing in. The first is to redeem your ticket at any ASL retailer, but note that you can only do this if the winning ticket is for less than $500. The second method of cashing in is to redeem by mail. Any claims for over $500 must be done this way. To redeem your prize this way, click on the “claim form” link on the “Claim Prize” page. Print out a copy of the form and fill it out, making sure to sign and date at the bottom of the page. In addition to the claim form, you will also need a photocopy of an acceptable form of photo identification. This can be a copy of your driver’s license, a U.S. passport, a U.S. Armed Forces I.D., a passport issued from a foreign government, or a U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services I.D. Attach your signed ticket and the copy of your identification to the claim form and mail it in to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center, P.O. Bo 3838, Little Rock, AR 72203. Finally, a third method is to visit an ASL Claim Center. The ASL has four Claim Centers, which are located in Springdale, Jonesboro, Little Rock, and Camden.

Make sure you don’t wait in claiming your prize! After all, after the last day to purchase tickets, you only have 90 days to claim a prize if you played an instant game. So as soon as you have a winning ticket, follow the instructions outlined above and start enjoying your winnings.
